Our Commitments

Considered Design

At Kind Bag we embrace slow and circular fashion. We believe in designing to last and trends that endure.

We pour our hearts and souls into our designs to create products that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Design shouldn't cost the earth, but contribute to it. As a female run company, we are always looking to support and collaborate with talented female artists. Not only to empower them but also to bring their beautiful designs to our customers!

Giving Back

A percentage of our sales are donated to positive causes and charities in order to empower women and preserve the environment.

Here at Kind Bag, we're all about being kind to the planet and that includes all those living on it! We want to do our bit and give back on a local and global scale. We're partnered with charities such as Woman's Earth Alliance (WEA) with the aim of supporting their work with regular donations and giveback initiatives.

Ethical Manufacturing

We have a very close partnership with our factories, suppliers and warehouses. We are dedicated to ensuring the products we make are truly KIND and don't impact the environment or people in a negative way. Our suppliers and their suppliers all work with various ethical trade organisations and have a dedicated teams to ensure we follow local and international regulations. All our workers are paid more than the local minimum wage and are on permanent payroll. We will never work with anyone that doesn't treat their employees fairly!

Our Producers

Supply chains are so easily exploited in our industry and it can be a huge challenge for smaller brands to pay for the infrastructural changes we desperately need. We NEVER compromise our high ethical and sustainable manufacturing and production standards.

Having worked with the same manufacture since we started in 2019, it is our top priority to ensure that the workers are working in safe, healthy and hygienic conditions and working fair, daytime working hours and are paid more than their local minimum wage. We work closely with our production team in China, ensuring our working condition standards are met and the people we work with are well looked after. Our warehouses are also completely plastic free and carbon neutral.

Our Materials

All our bags are made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. They’re strong, practical, beautiful and compact - but what’s actually so special and different, when a reusable bag is made from recycled plastic?

Nowadays we all are aware that plastic waste is polluting the planet, not helped by its slow degrading process. Reusable bags prevent the need for single-use plastic bags, which only are used for 15 minutes on average before thrown away. However, do we really know that reusable bags are actually helping to protect the environment?

Lots of reusable bags require a great number of reuses to justify its environmental impact from production. For example, cotton tote bags need 7,000 to 20,000 reuses to have the same cumulative environmental impact (such as water use) as a classic plastic bag. BUT recycled plastic only needs 2-3 reuses.

So, that’s why we use 100% recycled PET for our beautiful bags! We rescue plastic bottles from being stuck for 1,000 years in the landfill waiting to decompose, or thrown into the ocean and killing aquatic life. Click below to learn more about our decision to use plastic bottles!

And it's not only our bags that are 100% recyclable, but our packaging too! It's fully recyclable and eco-friendly, using paper tapes, recyclable cardboard sleeves, FSC Certified paper and eco-friendly ink.
