The Amy Hastings Collection
Our latest addition to our artist collaboration series, Amy Hasting's work is inspired by all things kitsch and her enduring love for the colour pink. Based in York, this talented artist's illustrations beautifully capture a playful essence, intertwining nostalgia and post-modern artefacts.
The trio of bags in the collection is, as you’d expect, effortlessly effervescent. Perfect for adding a pop of colour to shopping expeditions, picnic outings and holidays, they’ll inject a vibrancy to whatever you’re doing!
For this collection, we have carefully selected three of Amy's captivating designs. Each design is bursting with lively colours that exude joy and positivity. We hope these designs will inspire everyone to embrace the kitsch aesthetic and enjoy carrying a piece of fun artwork for their weekly shop or wherever else you choose to bring your trusty Kind Bag!
The Kit Agar Collection.
Introducing the newest collection in our series of collaborations championing female artists. This collaboration with British abstract artist Kit Agar features three dreamy designs: Sunbeam, Dream and Elsbeth, chosen for their calming and uplifting energy.
The Brighton-born, Brussels based artist's tantalising line drawings play with abstraction to explore ideas of beauty and femininity. Her ethereal Picasso-eque illustrations really resonate with us and we're delighted to have her onboard our eco mission!
On the collaboration, Kit stated: "I'm thrilled Kind Bag want to share my visualisations of beauty, femininity and mysticism. I hope you enjoy taking my art out and about with you!"
The Roeqie Collection
Our Roeqie Collection, in collaboration with artist Roeqiya Fris, features three mesmerising prints, all of which were carefully chosen for their explosion of colour and celebration of the female form.
The Dutch-Egyptian artist is fascinated by feminine beauty and is known for creating magical scenes filled with lustrous colours, where people, animals, and nature all live in harmony. Her inspiration comes not only from her Spanish upbringing but from her lifelong love of travel and culture. Roeqiya cites Marrakech, Istanbul and Granadaas as her favourite cities to draw inspiration from, with their amazing architectural, cultural and floral wealth.
On the Kind Bag collaboration, Roeqiya says: "I like to show strong, beautiful women in my work. I see such strength and power in women that follow their heart, their passions, and are not bothered by opinions or expectations on how to behave, how to dress or how to act. These prints show my view of paradise, inspired by beautiful patterns hidden in trees, flowers, in buildings, walls and… everywhere! I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them.”
The Maggie Stephenson Collection
This special, limited edition collection in collaboration with illustrator and artist Maggie Stephenson was born out of Lockdown. Inspired by being present in the moment, slowing down and enjoying the simple beauties of life, we fell head over heels in love with Maggie's illustrations and were so thrilled when she agreed to work with us!
Born in Poland and raised in Germany, she is an artist and illustrator based out in Florida. She works as a freelance illustrator for magazines, advertising and other publishers as well as creating art prints for home decor, having worked with brands such as Sephora, Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters.
Her work is influenced by her European upbringing and travels, combining rich textues, vivid colours and shape play. Being a female owned and led company we are always looking to work with amazing women and we are incredibly excited to have her support our mission!
