William Morris Strawberry Thief | Scarf Bag Large
Our scarf bag was inspired by Furoshiki (fu-row-shee-kee), Japanese traditional fabric that can be turned into a number of different things such as a bag, scarf, clothing and more.
We love this versatility that one item can be used in endless ways, and decided to create a collection of colourful scarf bags with our sustainable fabric, 100% made from recycled plastic bottles!
The scarf comes with 2x round handles to create our iconic bag, as well as a mini lookbook with instructions on several ways of turning the scarf into different items.

Our reusable bags are made from recycled RPET premium nylon which comes from old plastic bottles. Unlike other brands out there, the material we use is made from 100% used plastic.
The bags are made from one piece of material to minimise waste. Further, the packaging our bags are posted in is cardboard and 100% recyclable.
END OF LIFE
Kind Bags are strong and versatile for any occasion including shopping, travelling, gym, organisation and more. We are sure that your Kind Bag will last for a very long time and would become important part of your everyday life.
Kind Bags are 100% made from rPET (recycled polyethylene terephthalate), which is 100% recyclable. Unfortunately the country does not yet offer consistent recycling system and facility across the nation, and if you're in doubt, we recommend you to send your beloved Kind Bag to us, to ensure it reaches the right place to be recycled, not end up in the landfill or anywhere else.
1% FOR GOOD CAUSES
1% of all our sales are donated for positive causes whether we make profits or not.
Here at Kind Bag, our mission is to be kind to the planet, and that includes all those living on it! We want to do our bit and give back on a local and global scale, so we’ve now partnered with the fundraising platform 1% for the planet to donate 1% of our sales, (whether we make profits or not), to very deserving organisations.
As a brand, our mission is to combat plastic pollution and to help influence changes towards increased sustainability and ethical production methods in an increasingly fast fashion world. We also want to eliminate the need for the single-use plastic that is polluting our precious Earth! We want to help generate change for the humans and animals inhabiting our planet. This is why we partnered with 1% for the planet, to give back 1% of our sales, to organisations doing all sorts of great work for people, for animals and for the planet!

Why choose "100% recycled" material?
There're so many different bags out in the market to choose from - from cotton, plastic, paper and more. There's of course a reason why we're going for 100% recycled RPET material.
Unfortunately some "eco" bags are not actually ecological for the environment. Except for the plastic pollution in the ocean and landfill, plastic bags are actually the most environmentally-friendly option. Cotton and paper bags actually cost so much more energy to produce, and you need to reuse 7,000 to 20,000 times to have same cumulative environmental impact (water use, energy use, etc.) as a classic plastic bag (source: Denmark’s ministry of environment and food).
So, we believe retrieving plastic waste before polluting the ocean or be stuck in landfill for several hundred years, is a kinder option for our reusable bags.
