Our reusable bags are made from recycled RPET premium nylon which comes from old plastic bottles. Unlike other brands out there, the material we use is made from 100% used plastic.
The bags are made from one piece of material to minimise waste. Further, the packaging our bags are posted in is cardboard and 100% recyclable.
END OF LIFE
Kind Bags are strong and versatile for any occasion including shopping, travelling, gym, organisation and more. We are sure that your Kind Bag lasts for a very long time and would become important part of your everyday life, and also that at one point, you will find that your beloved Kind Bag may have reached the end of its life.
Kind Bags are 100% made from rPET (recycled polyethylene terephthalate), which is 100% recyclable. Unfortunately the country does not yet offer consistent recycling system and facility across the nation, and if you're in doubt, we recommend you to send your beloved Kind Bag to us, to ensure it reaches the right place to be recycled, not end up in the landfill or anywhere else.
To arrange the delivery of your old Kind Bag to us, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Once the whole process is complete we also offer you 20% off discount for your next Kind Bag purchase.
1% FOR GOOD CAUSES
1% of all our sales are donated for positive causes whether we make profits or not.
Here at Kind Bag, our mission is to be kind to the planet, and that includes all those living on it! We want to do our bit and give back on a local and global scale, so we’ve now partnered with the fundraising platform, Work For Good to donate 1% of our sales, (whether we make profits or not), to four very deserving organisations.
As a brand, our mission is to combat plastic pollution and to help influence changes towards increased sustainability and ethical production methods in an increasingly fast fashion world. We also want to eliminate the need for the single-use plastic that is polluting our precious Earth! We want to help generate change for the humans and animals inhabiting our planet, and so, this is why we partnered with Work For Good, to give back 1% of our sales, to four organisations doing all sorts of great work for people, for animals and for the planet!

To be kind to the planet.
We create sustainable accessories uniquely designed to combat plastic pollution and drive change in the fashion industry.
HOW IT STARTED
Back in 2019, our founder Maria started Kind Bag with her own savings with a big mission to combat plastic pollution.
Since then, so many of you joined her mission and Kind Bag has now rescued over 2.2 million plastic bottles from going to landfill and the ocean.
COME SAY HI
We are a small, young and passionate company based in Hackney, London, established in 2019.
We're currently a team of four + one dog, working together towards our big mission. We're very busy every day with lots of different things, from designing every single bag, developing new products, organising photoshoots, speaking to customers like you, taking our dog Wispa out for a walk, and more!
Why choose "100% recycled" material?
There're so many different bags out in the market to choose from - from cotton, plastic, paper and more. There's of course a reason why we're going for 100% recycled RPET material.
Unfortunately some "eco" bags are not actually ecological for the environment. Except for the plastic pollution in the ocean and landfill, plastic bags are actually the most environmentally-friendly option. Cotton and paper bags actually cost so much more energy to produce, and you need to reuse 7,000 to 20,000 times to have same cumulative environmental impact (water use, energy use, etc.) as a classic plastic bag (source: Denmark’s ministry of environment and food).
So, we believe retrieving plastic waste before polluting the ocean or be stuck in landfill for several hundred years, is a kinder option for our reusable bags.
